I like it. Sounds as plausible as anything else we or they've come up with. Personal canon.....erm.... I mean, personal continuity lives! Wink

I find that I enjoy TCW more when I discount it from canon altogether. It just ruins the experience when I have to reconcile it with the films and other canon.

I'm not hugely surprised. George loves to screw with stuff just because...reasons.

I mean, yes, you need to tell a good story, but picking two jedi masters, OTHER than two who are shown to be alive later, would not really change the plot of the show that much. Oh wait, at all.

I pity Leland and the others who have to work to clean things up after this is all said and done.

Personally, I'm hoping that TCW is eventually declared non-cannon or something like that that removes its numerous continuity blunders.

This actually makes sense. But I still hope for the above.

But I REALLY like how you're thinking with this.

Has anyone else been reading the Darth Maul comics?

I just wanted to put forward one point that I like: there's nothing in the TV episodes that disproved the current TCW comics.

1. Brothers
2. Revenge
3. The Sith Hunters (digest, starts with Maul and Opress abandoned in the cargo ship)
4. Darth Maul: Death Sentence (4-issue miniseries, 3 of which are already out.)
5. Revival (injuries sustained by the characters not reflected in comics, so they come first.)

I like when the shows don't tread on the TCW EU. Like when the Citadel trilogy claimed that Anakin and Rex had never been carbon-frozen, but they had been in Shipyards of Doom (though that was the only inconsistency; the rest of the story was left alone).

I agree. I could enjoy TCW as a separate canon. Different but equal to the EU. Unfortunately Apocalypse changed all that...

I have been mighty happy with the way the comics and the episodes of the clone wars have been tied in together but also work alone. They are doing a good job at keeping the feel of maul and opress very much the same in both as well. My faviorite part is that since Maul's return things have not been easy, times are hard for the brothers!
