Was thinking about picking up a copy of Star Wars Blueprints, is there anyone here who owns them who can tell me if it's worth the expense.

Depends how interested you are in the behind-the-scenes stories and images.

I have it, and though I have yet to read it, I've skimmed it in several sections. The drawings are not concept art, if that's what you're expecting, but instead very detailed technical drawings showing how they'd go from the concept art to reality. And its reproduced very well (often in the same size as the original art)

The text is also very illuminating about how they did things, and who was involved. It tells a lot of stories you'd probably never hear otherwise.

Thanks for the reply. To be honest I do think I would rarely even open the box. I just want to HAVE it. I'll see if I can resist for now though.
