You know, this thing actually bothers me. TCW is the best example of this. Of all the "bounty hunters" introduced in the show (I will avoid naming them for the sake of the game), we don't see them doing any bounty hunting. They are always hired as mercs, thieves or assassins.
We know that Jango and Boba did both assassin and bounty jobs, but can anyone name a single bounty that the new bounty hunters of the TCW brought in?

Hondo Ohnaka captured and tried to ransom Dooku. That's sort of bounty hunting Razz .

As an aside, I'm rather miffed that there were two questions that I could have won, while I was away. And, also, I can totally recite the periodic table Cool .

Asajj Ventress, in the S4 finale, took the bounty notice for Savage Opress. Her intent was to take him out via lightsaber. If the bounty notice said "dead or alive" and she brought proof, I would count that.

But you're right; most TCW bounty hunters only act as mercenaries (hired guns protecting a town, hired guns protecting a shipment, hired guns performing a rescue op, etc.) Which is why I think the question should be amended.

From Revan by Drew Karpyshyn: Chapter 3: He still looked every bit the part of a mercenary, though Revan knew he hadn’t accepted a job since they’d teamed up to take down Darth Malak two years earlier....

.... “You know why I’ve been hanging around this kriffing bar for two years, turning down everyone who came to offer me a job?” he asked. He didn’t bother to wait for a reply. “I had a feeling you were going to get mixed up in something interesting, and I wanted to be around for the fun.

Hope that helps.

After all this time my dear, to come to hate me over a simple matter of sport? No, I believe we've known each other too long for that Smile
