Sorry for the double post, however ...
I have mastered accented vowels! Well, maybe 'mastered' is too strong a word, but I can do them now! It started when I noticed another symbol on my 4 key, one I couldn't do by usual means. The Euro symbol. I was perplexed, but then I noticed my other ALT key had another abbreviation after it. That of GR. ALT GR. I thought it would be exactly the same as my other ALT key, yet when I pressed four, I got ... €! €€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€! (read as 'Eeeeeeeeeeeeeee!'). So, on a hunch, I pressed my vowels, and got áéíóú! I can do them, now! I can say Padme's name properly! Hello Padmé!
Okay, this is a rather small good thing, but it's been bugging me for years. It was quite annoying, having to find the right accent, then copy and paste it onto my writing, and then have to fiddle with it to get it to fit the other text. I'm convinced that's why Word no longer accepts copy and pasted texts from other sources. But now I can do them! Yay! _________________ I am a Star Wars fan. That doesn't mean that I hate or love Jar Jar. That doesn't mean I hate or love Lucas, or agree or disagree 100% with him. That doesn't mean I prefer the PT over the OT, or vice versa. That doesn't mean I hate the EU, or even love all of it. These are not prerequisites. Being a man is not a prerequisite. Being a geek is not a prerequisite. The only prerequisite is that I love something about Star Wars. I am a Star Wars fan.
