I'm tellin' ya, it's the greatest change this site has had. Cluttered at first glance, maybe. But it's a perfect design, once you actually dig deep.

A couple of my friends have it. The new layout is more visually appealing with the profile pic superimposed over the cover photo. I don't like how the status updates are arranged, splitting them into two columns.

I read an interesting article on CBC news today: Do you suffer from 'Facebook depression'?

I had one for about 2 months, and logged in once or twice. Then I deleted it. Does that still count as not having one? Razz

I love Facebook. I check out the Star Wars page, the Del Rey page, the Dark Horse page and George Takei's page all the time. Plus other pages.

Plus I'm friended with a bunch of Star Wars authors -- Troy Denning, Matt Stover, Christie Golden, Aaron Allston, JJM -- to name a few. As in not their official page, but actually friended.

Oh and did I mention Sam Witwer? Yeah, friends with him too. Very Happy

Color me jealous! I've always wanted to meet Stover and Denning but I can never get to their tours, I don't have the cash or time, but you actually facebook friend them!? Green with envy Very Happy

Well, Skuldren got to meet a bunch of them at CVI because he interviewed them. He also got inducted into the Pith Order by Ryder Windham and Randy Stradley while he was there.

I did get to meet Aaron Allston at a book signing but I haven't made it to any conventions yet.

I missed Allston by a day in KC while dating a girl from Bonner Springs back in 2009. So frustrating, it was on the Outcast tour. But ya, that's so cool that you get to regularly interact with a bunch of them.

That may be the tour I met him on. I had to go way out to Lee's Summit.

Wasn't that the book tour that got cancelled halfway through because he had his heart attack and subsequent bypass? Because that's when I met him. When I met him I remember thinking he needed to lose some weight because he was getting to that dangerous age. That was the nurse in me thinking that.

You can delete your account?! I was told you couldn't... once you joined, your soul was sold. Wink

You can deactivate it, but if you want your photos and all removed, you have to delete every single one yourself.
