I keep meaning to, I hear its a great show. I have a friend who watches it and just raves about it. Didn't it get moved to the death slot on Fridays where it wound up still being popular?

Watched the first episode of Arrow last night. So good! I'm looking forward to it continuing.

I don't know much about The Green Arrow, but it was still a really good show, despite any lack of knowledge.

And I understand they're going to bring in various other DC Comics characters (specifically those that do not have powers; the one I read about was Huntress). So that's cool.

I recommend it.

WB did a short lived Birds Of Prey series with Huntress, Black Canary and Barbara Gordon. I wonder if that is going to tie in with continuity to GA or just reboot the character. Does GA tie into his character on Smallville or did they reboot?

A word of warning: for some reason it goes white about 7 minutes in, though you can still hear the dialogue. The blankness only lasts for about two minutes and the rest of the episode plays fine.

Now, on to my thoughts:

Reboot.

Birds of Prey is one of the most horribly executed shows I've ever had the chance to see. Holy hell that was bad. All characters mis-represented, all links to DC characters poorly done, all acting so bad you have to be trying to be in the out-group on purpose to say you enjoyed it. Dear lord that was awful.

Hey, I never said I enjoyed it. I didn't even watch it, but I remembered it and it seemed like a sort of weird thing that it did tie in to Smallville, so if GA also ties into smallville it sort of screws up the continuity to discount it.

Not that they care at all about that and neither do I. Just curious.

Believe me, I wasn't accusing you of liking it. I've gotten to where I have a decent handle on your preferences and I know you wouldn't be into it. Frankly I'm surprised anyone, anywhere was into it.

GA is its own thing actually, or so I'm told. I haven't got any interest in watching it but that's the story I get from others.
