Episode 3: "Shadow of Malevolence"
After discovering the location of a Confederacy cruiser housing a devastating new weapon, Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker and his padawan Ahsoka Tano lead a daring assault against the Malevolence.

Episode 4: Destroy Malevolence
Airs: Friday 10/17 at 8:00 PM Central, 9:00 PM E/P, Saturday 10/19 at 8:30 PM Central, 9:30 PM E/P
Summary: Using a powerful new weapon, Anakin comes up with a plan to attack General Grievous' ship.

Discuss the next two episodes of the series. Episodes 3 and 4 will conclude the Malevolence story arc.

Me thinks the Sep secret weapon will be destroyed. But will Anakin or his apprentice fire the killer blow?

I hope they don't kill it off that fast. That would be a waste of an idea. But knowing how the stories have played out so far, they'll probley want to resolve that problem. So it'll probley be destroyed.

I do hope it gets killed off fast. While its cool and all, its a little to powerful to stick around all the time. Plus its always a better story when the two sides are more evenly matched.

At least i think so.

It's a pretty interesting story, although it's been seen in SW a few times already, and episodes 1 and 2 should be up on the Cartoon Network site by then, and should make for an interesting evening.

If such a weapon was around for let's say even six months, that's still a lot of time for the Separatists to do a lot of harm to the Republic. It would also be hard with continuity and other stories at least not mentioning it (even word of this weapon would get around the Republic battlefields). However, dwell too much on the continuity, we shouldn't; many conflicts I feel, but only time will tell. Smile

For the most part me too. But doesn't it just give you the chills when an outnumbered army wins?

Episode 3 was pretty dang good; the space battles are always amazing. Look forward to Destroy Malevolence.

Indeed, me too!
Now, my gripe; I understand the story revolves around Anakin, but some other Jedi would be nice too. Master Plo Koon Intruiges me to no end, so I would love to see some backstory on him.

Well, this arc is suppose to focus on Anakin, Ashoka, and Plo Koon. The next two episodes, 5 and 6, will focus on Kit Fisto and his apprentice. TCW will be made up of arcs as well as standalone episodes.

I just realized that the episodes are no longer airing in pairs...guess that double dose was just for the premier...oh well. This episode was pretty good. I like the fact that not everyone made it through, plus the elements they drew from A New Hope (ship squadron going in for attack run led by Jedi) and Empire Strikes Back (the final scene where they are looking out at space).

And this is the second time I missed the Friday airing. At least they re-run the shows on Sunday. Thank goodness for that.

Well I've got the tape sitting right here, but I've got to sit down and watch it. Probably at lunch in an hour or so.

Edit: Yep, it was very good! I've come to really like Anakin (even though it's only been three episodes), whereas I really didn't like him in AotC and RotS. And, of course, I mourned the loss of the Clones. Sad

Poor clones. dying off every episode by the ship load. Crying or Very sad I hope their casualty rate drops off some, at the current rate, the Republic will be unable to field an army by year 2 of the war!

I, on the other hand, expect the casualty rates for the clones to stay on par. Many people die in a war. I'm waiting for the first Jedi casualty. And hoping against hope to see a Sep Gossam Commando. That would be so sweet!
