^For me usage of the night vision goggles while looking at fire/explosion was the biggest disappointment of this episode. Minor thing I know, but still visible enough to notice.

Overall I liked this one. The guerrilla warfare was done nicely. A good combination of ninja sneaking around and classic firefight scenes.

Plus they didn't spit on any of the previous EU works that I'm aware of.

While the night vision goggles were cool, they seemed unnecessary - civilians were walking around outside without them and had no problems seeing in the night.

Technically night vision goggle would be good for combat, and really good night vision goggles can look at fire and explosion without crapping out. Though it would have been better if they flipped the goggles up when looking at the fire. Still, very minor gripe. I liked the episode.

My liking of them was mainly the design.

Look familiar? Very Happy
