Obi Wan and Ventress would be cool - though maybe far fetched to produce a human daughter. Obi Wan and Aunt Beru, on the other hand ...

See, I went there in a discussion with some friends and they were all "ew". But, yeah the real reason Owen hates Obi-Wan Very Happy

Hmm...sounds like a good idea and all, but wouldn't it be kinda creepy? I mean, Luke marring his cousin (sort-a)? They wouldn't be close family but still... Confused

Mara wasn't mentioned. Also, while we've been joking about it, I think, in reality, Mara being Obi-Wan's daughter would be a terrible idea.

But as for the cousin thing, Mara wouldn't be any blood relation at all. Owen is Anakin's stepbrother; not his half brother.

Beru doesn't seem trashy enough to sleep around.

Now how would we know that? All we ever see Beru do is pour blue milk. I'm betting that Owen left her alone just once too often while he went to check on moisture vaporators. Or so he said that's what he was doing. Wink

And who could resist a Jedi mind trick. "This is the extra-marital affair you're looking for"

Exactly. Obi-Wan was probably not in his usual "lets-chopp-some-hands-off" wasted state, just tipsy enough to want some love. He was sad because he and Ventress broke up recently and he needed some comfort. Wink Rolling Eyes

They called him Crazy Old Ben because of his infamous womanizer affairs in all the cantinas on Tatooine. "Why I saw Crazy Old Ben with a Gamorrean last week. Can you believe that?"

I heard it was two Gamorrean's, and he'd bought a vat of Kowakian Monkey Oil an hour before...

Mara, as Obi-Wan's daughter, would add another dimension to her rivalry with Vader in Allegiance and Choices of One.

Yeah, I just think it would be a bad choice. I know there's a horde of female fans who all seem to want Obi-Wan to have some kind of offspring, but I think that should be saved for fanfic, not canon story.

That said, we're all for Obi-Wan dating Gamorreans, Whiphids, and Shistavanens.

So what kind of high-stakes drama do you think Obi-Wan can get into on Tatooine? Think he'll run into any Inquisitors? Maybe jump Beggar's Canyon in a Sand Crawler?
