Feel free to discuss all the good things about the Disney purchase of Lucasfilm here. A positive place for fans to share the cool things we can look forward to without any negativity.

One interesting, though slim possibility, is that technically, they could bring back Darth Maul for Episode VII. Just imagine the announcer voice "Some Sith just won't stay dead." An unlikely idea, but possible now. And speaking of possibilities, we could actually see Quentin Tarantino direct a Star Wars film! Or that one guy who wanted to do a Boba Fett film.

Well, we could get an entire theme park out of this like Wizarding World only Star Wars.

Joss Whedon is a possibility

Lots of fun Disney/Star Wars mashups. Already seeing those.

Oh! Just thought of another good thing. Karen Traviss canon will be totally wiped out of existence. Very Happy

A sequel trilogy that doesn't have Lucas as the director or writer. He's a visionary, don't get me wrong, but I don't want another trilogy of fireplace scenes.

Hey, now. I happen to love Karen Traviss' contributions.

But Skuldren! What are you doing? All these positive vibes are totally raining on my mood. Wink

A Star Wars theme park would be pretty awesome. Is it too much to ask for a central US location?

How about one in Europe ? We do have Disneyland Paris, so it's not an altogether forlorn hope.

A Star Wars live-action TV series could be shown on ABC (which is owned by Disney), so those of us who do not have cable would still be able to watch Star Wars on TV.

Disney also owns Lifetime. I can't wait for the Lifetime Star Wars movies. Very Happy

Look at this at your own peril.

OK. There actually would be hope for a decent sequel trilogy with ties to the existing EU in this case. Sadly unlikely.

I...I can't hardly fathom the horror Disney could wreak on SW. And that only makes me more scared.

Star Wars Episode VII: The Quest For More Money directed by Joss Whedon goes down in flames as the worst movie of all time and Joss Whedon is never allowed to make another film.

Zac Synder signs on for the sequel with the same result. Laughing

See? I can be hopeful!
