I have an unrelated question about scoring. When you put "29 (one close call)", what does that mean exactly? Is one of the 29 questionable? Or is it 29 confirmed + one unconfirmed? Thanks.

A close call means that you either spelled it wrong or missed part of the name, but it's obvious what you meant. A complete miss, as in it doesn't exist, doesn't count, or is unrecognizable as what you meant, will not be counted at all.

So close calls do count in breaking ties and such.

I've been racking my brains for days, trying to think up some Rodians, but my numbers are pretty much the same:

Thanks, but I'm also wondering how it works with the numbers. If I have 29 answers and one is terribly spelled or missing something, do I have "29 (one close call)" or "28 (one close call)"? Do the close calls count in my total?

Thanks!

As far as I understand it: No.

Ah, I see your question. No, they do not count in your total. If you submit a total of 37 answers, but two are misspelled, your total will now be: 35 (2 close calls).

I've been so super busy with school I haven't been playing, just checking it out every few days. I could have named at least 3. Wink
