I'm not fussed either way, to be honest. There's absolutely nothing that sticks out for either vessel, one way or another. I'll flip a coin. It was tails. Sith Fighter.

Sith fighter!

I was in love with Maul's Scimitar, then after reading about the ships sith history in Darth Plagueis I consider this ship almost a living character of SW history.

A-Wing.

For the record, my vote would have been for Ki-Adi Mundi also.

A-Wing wins 6-5

Round 1 is complete. The winners from Round 1 will be pitted against each other for Round 2. And to start it off: more starfighters!

Round 2, Match 1:

TIE Fighter

or

ARC 170

The knee-jerk reaction is for the TIE because of how iconic it is, but apart from that (and the epic sound that it makes) it doesn't have much going for it. The design is absurd. Those side panels are flying targets and it isn't aerodynamic at all. The ARC on the other hand looks like it could be an authentic fighter. ARC 170 for me.

Even though the ARC might be a better fighter overall, the TIE fighters were one of the many things that contributed to my Star Wars fandom. TIE for me!!

Making TIE fighters out of the construction junk left around our still under construction house is one of the fonder memories I have from childhood. So...much as I adore the ARC 170, my vote goes to the TIE fighter. Cool

Since when do you need aerodynamics when flying through the vacuum of space? I'll go with the TIE because the roar it makes still gives me chills and because of the unique design.

Although it has to have the worst possible peripheral view in flying history........ besides Vader himself I have always believed they were the strongest symbolism for the Empire.

Tie Fighter
