I just met the Didact, to give you an idea of where I am. I don't get much time to play with work and all. But I'm getting there!

Well I'm 95% sure that neither Cortana or the Didact are dead.I actually think thanks to the Composer we'll get Cortana returned in a human body! But ya, that whole game was so ridiculously insane.

No, I don't think either of them are dead. What I do think, though, is that Master Chief is genetically patterned after the Didact. I'll let you shoot that one down before I continue.

This is a fairly common theory and I'm not sure what I truly think of it yet, I'm going to do another burn through (unfortunately my 3rd) soon.

The Didact is different though. I think that since the Librarian set in motion the genetic eventuality I think that rather than the Didact she created something the Didact couldn't predict or stand against because she also set up Halsey and Cortana. It was inevitable that her and the Chief would wind up together, and its not over. I'm not sure what will happen now that Chief has been stripped of his armor (still not sure how I feel about that, seeing his eyes was weird) but I think he may have the chance now to rise farther than the Didact. However if they start giving him the same Force-like powers I may be...done.

Eyes...when did you see his eyes?!

Legendary ending dear. That shot where his helmet comes off there after the credits? The Legendary ending lingers and extra second and you see basically the whole top part of his face.

Also pay attention to the Librarian and what she says, as well as the Composer and the descriptions about it. Pay really close attention.

I found that log by Halsey, and another random terminal that Cortana never did share. But I'll explore more the second time. And try to pay closer attention to the dialogue. Sometimes it's hard, cause you're fighting while they're talking.

Right after you get out of the cryo tube in the beginning go down the stairs to your left when you walk out of that room. That's the only hint on that one I'll give you, but the terminals go a long way towards explaining the Didact's actions. You can watch them on Halo Waypoint (or just youtube them) but you don't play them in-game anymore, it slows you down.
