Indeed, he's actually my favorite character (besides Lily). I'm tired of Ted, Barney is getting sort of confusing, and Robin hasn't developed in 3 years. The talk right now is that since the execs can't make up their minds there is a chance at a shorter season 9, like 10-12 episodes, to cap the story. He's whiny and indecisive, not at all sweet like he was at the beginning of the series. Robin has indeed stagnated as a character. I still enjoy Barney, for the most part. He's always been my favorite, but I could do without the wild character swings they give him. Lily is really getting on my nerves as well. The jokes they give her just seem out of place for a character who's now been married for several years and is a mother. Lily is polarizing for me because I think some of her material is gold and some of it is pointlessly bad. She comes off as inconsistent now. It's going to be very hard waiting for next Saturday and Christmas Eve. Padme, if you haven't watched Episodes 7-10 yet, do it now and then watch Episode 11.
