Btw, spell check wants me to change tryptophan to Aristophanes.

I just want to highlight to people that turkey contains no more Tryptophan than any other meat. It's just an amino acid found in pretty much any protein. The fact that it is the cause of sleepiness after eating a Turkey Dinner is a myth.

You feel sleepy after eating turkey because 90% of the time, when you eat turkey it's because you just had a massive Thanksgiving/Christmas/Easter dinner and gorged yourself to exhaustion.

Tonight's episode of "Merlin" was simply mind blowing. The ending really takes the cake - the text of the letter that Gauis reads is going to be stuck in my head for the next two weeks.

And the poor Knight - absolutely horrible.

Only 16 days left now until the final episode,

Alan, could you please use the spoiler code for Merlin reveals? Merlin season 5 doesn't start for me until January 4. I really don't want to be spoiled.

@Caedus: Well, HIMYM's brief shining moment of glory kind of died.

Oh shush, a couple of weeks ago, it was good. But this week was a trainwreck.

This season (with the Victoria and such) has been weaker than stronger.

Its about half over, the Christmas break is coming up. Hopefully they can end it. You know Jason Segal won't come back if they do a 9th season, right?

I know, which is why I agree that the show should end. Marshall provides much of the show's heart.

Indeed, he's actually my favorite character (besides Lily). I'm tired of Ted, Barney is getting sort of confusing, and Robin hasn't developed in 3 years. The talk right now is that since the execs can't make up their minds there is a chance at a shorter season 9, like 10-12 episodes, to cap the story. Hopefully it helps.

Cap away, execs! I'm over Ted, too. He's whiny and indecisive, not at all sweet like he was at the beginning of the series. Robin has indeed stagnated as a character. I still enjoy Barney, for the most part. He's always been my favorite, but I could do without the wild character swings they give him. Lily is really getting on my nerves as well. The jokes they give her just seem out of place for a character who's now been married for several years and is a mother. I still wholly adore Marshall.

Lily is polarizing for me because I think some of her material is gold and some of it is pointlessly bad. She comes off as inconsistent now. Marshall and Barney are all this series has left, and I'm certain that its almost over.

Oh ... my ... gosh.

Any words seem inadequate to describe tonight's episode of Merlin. What a jaw dropper. And now Morgana

Padme, if you haven't watched Episodes 7-10 yet, do it now and then watch Episode 11.
