Oddly enough I agree with pretty much all of that. I was able to let go enough to enjoy the sheer entertainment qualities of Transformers (I didn't expect it to be anything but what it was, and I wasn't disappointed). Other than that there's a darn good list right there DPW.

Ultra-violet.

I don't know why this movie sucked so bad, I must have repressed it from my memory. But I know that I hate it.

Ultra-violet literary made me sick. Camera movements and horrid CGI. Man I've ridden rollercoasters that didn't make my head spin so much.

One movie I was thinking about the other day that I was really disappointed with was Public Enemies. Christian Bale + Johnny Depp, I thought it would be great. Instead, it was awful. Not even worth a rewatch.

I'm a John Dillinger fan, so I liked Public Enemies (and have re-watched it a few times Wink ), but I thought it could have been a lot better. It was more a documentary than a movie in some ways.

Well, I've given this a lot of thought because I've seen a lot of really bad movies, but I have to say the winner is....

Twilight. Any of them.

Avatar. James Cemeron's Avatar is one of the worst films ever made. Ever. Of all time.

I used to rag on Avatar but I saw it again and thought it wasn't that bad. Its Pocahantus in space, but it isn't terrible...

I've seen it twice, and one was after nearly a year.

Its derivative, its lazy (unobtanium is a sci-fi joke, why the hell would Cameron think he can be clever), its preachy, its character work is cliche and makes no sense, and its so predictable I probably didn't even need to ever see it because I could have just guessed in the right direction and gotten it. James Cameron is always preachy but this was too much, and it was just so poorly executed and so thinly plagiarized that its embarrassing. The fact that its the most successful movie of all time pains me when there are so much better films coming out all the time.

I watched Avatar once. I thought my brain was going to implode from sheer boredom.

Laughing So much hate for Avatar.

I agree that it was preachy and unoriginal, but I thought it was quite entertaining.

He Lucas-ed. Pretty graphics don't make up for lack of story or character development Sad

Doesn't count, those characters have been developed enough...in other films...for decades Wink

Not surprising at all actually, though I love that there are more of us out there. Its the most over-hyped movie I've ever seen.
