| Star Wars needs to be more like Dexter. |
Harsh language and a plot that keeps decreasing in intelligence after about 4 seasons? |
I want Star Wars writers to be heartless. Let characters suffer, unafraid to the let them experience the consequences of their own actions. Already in season two, Dexter is at risk to lose everything - something I thought wouldn't happen until the final season. The last time that happened in our universe was NJO. While the overkill critique in recent stories isn't baseless, I don't think, as we move towards lighter stories, that the lesson of NJO should to be lost, or at worse misinterpreted to mean that Han, Leia, and Luke need to be insulated in a bubble, just like they were in the Bantam Era. Star Wars that doesn't flinch, but looks you in the eye and tells you its deepest, darkest secrets. _________________ Observation: Life would be cooler if everyone spoke like HK-47.
