If you own the companion, there are a few things I would like to know about it:

1) Does it include the Galaxy of Fear series?

2) If so, does it place it in the timeline, if so where?

3) Are there any particular continuity notes related to it?

I might have more questions, but these are my most pressing ones.

Thanks.

1) Yes, it is included.

2) It is mixed with other stories, but in general, after Allegiance and before Splinter of the Mind's Eye.

3) No particular continuity notes

Thanks. Follow-up:

How is a given book in the series written up, timeline-wise? Is there like an "Timeline: X ABY" among other pieces of info like in the Comics Companion, or how does this Companion do it?

I think it's for the author (once selected) to decide, but I'm not sure. I doubt it fells on the Keeper of the Holocron.
Sorry!

Huh?

We are still talking about the Reader's Companion, and how it writes up info on a given SW book. Specifically a Galaxy of Fear book, doesn't matter which one.

The books are listed in chronological order, and each one is assigned a timeline placement (In BBY or ABY), including any flashbacks.

This is how it is in the Reader's Companion under each specific book: Timeline Placement - date

For example:

Galaxy of Fear: The Nightmare Machine
Author - John Whitman
Cover Artist - Steve Chorney
Publication History - Juvenile novel, Bantam Skylark - paperback, June 1997
Time Line Placement - 0 ABY
Worlds Visited
Main Characters
Summary

Every book is in the proper time line placement. However, some books like the Rise and Fall of Darth Vader are placed where the story ends; not where it begins.

The books are also divided by era.
