You're right that the way it was done was impressive, but that's about in for that particular bit.

I choked on this one... It drug on way too long for my taste, and was WAY too convoluted. Or at least more than I was able to track.

Can I have my Lightsabers and the Force back now?

I agree on this one. I have a love/hate relationship with Zahn. For sure, he's done a lot for Star Wars (he created two of the most memorable characters in the EU), but I usually don't like his writing style. It's a bit too technical and his characters often come off as a bit stiff.
