So the arc seems to have served the purpose of cleaning some of the messes the show has made in the last few years. Ok well through its entire run, but you know what I mean. Satine dying wound up being kind of sad, but pretty much everything else just felt necessary at this point. Maul remaining alive worries me, I'm thinking we might get some Plagueis style experiments with immortality and Midi Chlorians here soon.
This had a lot of death in it, a lot of violence for a show that's still being plugged as a children's show (you can't argue with that when they're pumping out some excessively childish episodes). I liked this arc but its not enough to bring me back to the show. I'll be stepping back again, happy that we got a killer lightsaber fight, and will wait awhile again to see if the show again becomes watchable.
