The fact that I'm wearing a knee-length skirt, sleeveless top and open-toed shoes all in January...for some reason this just bothers me. Confused

In January where I live that would be considered normal! Laughing Wink

Today when this werid girl came to school both her eyebrows were shaven off. And when we asked her why she did it, she answered simply because she wanted to...Confused

I wore shorts to school yesterday. It was humid. Just no.

Was eating buffalo wing pizza today, had a mishap with my drink where it went down the wrong passage of the throat. Discovered that when you begin coughing where the liquid goes up your nose hurts when mixed with wing sauce. On the other hand it does do a good job at clearing nassal passages. Confused

Lent hath arrived and that means no YouTube for me for forty days and forty nights.

Lent is here.

But I'm Adventist, not Catholic, so I get to keep all my stuff and habits. So I raise a glass of tea while watching HIMYM, reading Batman, and playing xbox to those of you who have to get crackin' Very Happy

While I understand the idea behind Lent, I don't really get the practice. For instance, one of my best friends told me that she is giving up complaining about school. That seems....weirdly specific.

I only gave up one thing for lent one year, and it was because my Grade 9 religion class (which seems so far away, back in Winter/Spring 2001) was giving additional marks if we successfully completed it.

I didn't eat potato chips for the entire time period. Which was saying something; back then I loved my potato chips.

On Easter Monday mother bought me Salt-and-Vinegar Lays. They were amazing.

But this year, nay. I never gave anything up as a kid (I'm Anglican, and it was never something we did, despite all my friends in the Catholic school I was in giving things up).

Y'all, last night, I dreamed that there was a comic in which Wonder Woman married Jar-Jar. If anyone needs me, I'll be making an appointment with a therapist.

Have her book up the appointment right after yours because I think I'll be needing one to now...

Give us an update when you dream what their kids will look like! Wink

@Caedus: I'm really scared as to what this says about my psyche.

@Jaina: Oh dear God in heaven, if I dream that, I may jump off the nearest cliff.

Using Google Chrome, I was looking at a list of Star Wars species. Chrome prompted me that the page was in Malay and asked me if I wanted to translate it to English Laughing

The only thing that would be better is if Chrome said "the following is in Malay, translate into Basic?" Wink

I'm not familiar of the intricacies of weight, so can someone help me? Is the loss of 3lbs in 18 days a lot, or a little, or negligible?
