I'm fine with time travel as long as they use Waru to do it.

I feel like you need a Waru tee-shirt or something, you're the biggest fan of him I've ever seen.

I actually saw someone in a Waru t-shirt at CVI. Just a plain white tee with Waru written in the Star Wars lettering.

There's a good chance what you mention in your spoiler tags is how they'll work in the new films...

Troy Denning is running a Crucible Spoiler Contest on his Facebook page. The idea is you post a fake Crucible spoiler, people vote on their favorite, and whoever gets the most votes wins a signed copy of Crucible. Details are located here and here. Contest ends tomorrow night.

I'm surprised Crucible hasn't gotten cancelled. Confused

I think the Sword of the Jedi trilogy will be first on the chopping block. This book was just too close, might as well have let it run its course.

Perhaps Crucible's sales will determine the fate of Sword of the Jedi. But we haven't heard anything about it since Disney bought Lucasfilm, have we?

Other than books that were probably already on their way to printing we've heard nothing else. I think it might be a safe assumption that anything from later this year and from there on is up in the air, at least until they state otherwise.

You know, I completely missed you guys talking about Waru t-shirts. Funny thing is, I have one. And I did wear it to Celebration VI. But it was yellow (of course!). Very Happy

But back on topic. There was a rumor (supposedly from Timothy Zahn himself) that future post-ROTJ books are currently on hold. Could be a while before that hold is unfrozen, IF said rumor is true. Rather speculative, but the news front has been very quiet concerning Sword of the Jedi and Kemp's duology.

Sean Williams said Del Rey was in a "holding pattern" since Disney purchased LucasFilm in an interview he did with a SF podcast at the beginning of the year.

Darn, I forgot about Kemp's duology. I really wanted to read that, or at least know what it was going to be about. Sad

Don't the books sell pretty well? They love to display on the covers that they are NY Times bestsellers (not sure quite that means though, I'm Aussie, what do I care if a book sells a ton in NY right? Razz )

So if they sell well, why stop them? Brain hurts.
