I just finished this yesterday, and I enjoyed it. There is some great worldbuilding and interesting characters.
The short story by John Ostrander is a nice bit of character work.

It's a pretty good book, and the short story and comic book included make it a better deal, but not necessarily a must-buy.

"Shaken, not stirred, will get you cold water with a dash of gin and dry vermouth. The reason you stir it with a special spoon is so not to chip the ice. James is ordering a weak martini and being snooty about it."

Completely forgot that this was out. Well, I guess I can wait until my birthday for this, anyway.

Dawn of the Jedi: great story, boring prose.

I was pleased with the first arc of the comics so I'll definitely be buying this!

I won't be buying but I will be checking them out as they're released in TPB form -- from my local library.
