EUC is proud to announce that starting Sunday, October 26 readers will have the chance to ask Star Wars author James Luceno questions about any of his works, including the recently released "Millennium Falcon." You can send in the questions to mailbag@eucantina.net with the subject line "Question(s) for James Luceno" or ask them in this thread on our forums.

We will send the questions to Mr. Luceno on Monday, November 2 (please be aware that normally it would be a Sunday, but he's on the MF book tour until the 1), so please have all questions in by 12:00 PM EST. If it's too specific for the interview, we will still ask it but the reply will be sent to the reader who ask personally.

question #1 - I know you must love all of your books, but what book have you had the most fun working on?

question #2 - What inspired you to write Millennium Falcon?

( some comments - I loved the visual guide to episode III so thank you)

Sorry, I send you these questions a mail, only to remember that I can write them here as well. So of course you only have to ask him once. Wink Thanks for this opportunity to ask the questions! Smile

-What is the single most challenging aspect, when writing Star Wars? Is it intimidating to write for such a large franchise or is it actually a relief to write and know that there will be a lot of people liking it simply because it is Star Wars?

-From a writer's point of view is working with a setting that was invented by somone else more difficult than writing something completely original? Is it less rewarding or more?

-You co-wrote several books with the late Brian Daley, who was among the first to write Star Wars novels. Is there any Star Wars related anecdote from this time? Was Star Wars an issue for you at all during that time?

-Why do you choose to write Sci-Fi novels?

-What is your favourite Star Wars character you wrote about and why?

So this is it. Thanks again and best regards

Volker

1. Where do you see the Star Wars novels in ten years (ie. how would you like to see the types of characters, races, and technology evolve)?

2. If you could name the first Darth, what name would you choose?

If you could write one Star Wars book, regardless of what the editors approved, what would it be and why?

Questions were asked! Very Happy Major thanks to everyone who sent in questions and left them here-- this interview is HUGE. We had over 20 questions sent in; while all were aske, it's not guaranteed that all will/can be answered.
