Yeah. The only name that should continue to go on as long as Star Wars goes on is Skywalker. After all the prequel era got by with no Solo's, but there was a Skywalker.

A reason why the prequels weren't as enjoyable as the originals Laughing

Personally i didnt like the prequels as much as the originals because they had to much action and not enough development of the story. The originals had much more character developement, and it made it a much more enjoyable experience.

And I love the prequels in case anyone is wondering. Attack of the Clones is my favorite Star Wars film.

Not to mention the acting and dialogue were atrocious, save for Ewan MacGregor. *cough*

But they weren't horrible.
Though I admit they could do with some comic relief (aside from the droids).

If u want to bring in some new family--u shud atleast bring them in while the old families are around--=cuz then its easy to fit-and easier fr us to like'em cuz Han likes them=p....otherwise, suddenly getting a new family in is like 'whoa'

It will be a gradual shift. The Solos will slowly change to the Fels.

I suppose that could be fine with me, as long as it's done right. In other words, as long as Jaina marries Jag. *cough* Very Happy

Laughing
I just thought about something. If (I shudder to say it) Jaina doesn't tie the knot with Jag, then there are not even any Solo-descents in Legacy ...Sad

Okay a new hope has arisen. In Millenium Falcon, Allana was introduced as Allana Solo. So if Allana marries a Hapan (the females name continue, unlike both cultures. But I'm sure you knew that. Wink ) So there you have it.

My sister came up with that exact scenario the other day, actually. Cept that I said, "Well if the Hapan's keep the mother's name, wouldn't Allana be Allana Djo?" But I suppose not. So this does keep the Solo name going. Whoo-hoo! Smile

Tenel Ka took her Mothers name?? I dont see a Djo anywhere near her name.
But Allana shudnt bother with the Solo name, afterall, thats a male thing Sad .
Im happy by calling her line the Solo descendants.=p

You have to remember that Jacen was from a culture where males keep their names. So just because Hapans keep their mothers name, the majority of the galaxy keeps their father's name. Since majority rules, Jacen's culture probably won and alas: Allana Solo!

Yeah I guess--Allana Solo--the last of the Solos)She better do sth truly awsome afterall shes got a lot of standards to meet as shes Han Solos granddaughter.
So will the last of the Solos(Allana) be a killer pilot, or more lightsaberish???
