I saw Catching Fire two nights ago. Lots of fun! As good, if not better, than the first Hunger Games movie. And about as fun as the book.
They cut a lot from the book, but either it was unnecessary, bad for a movie (books and movies are different media, after all), or a direct result of something cut for the first movie. Any content that was conveyed in a "cut" scene that was essential to the plot was reallocated easily enough, for example:

Everything to do with the mayor's daughter Madge was cut from both movies. In the book, it was at a party at Madge's house that Katniss saw uprisings on the TV screens. Here though, she peeked into a Peacekeeper's office on the train. Easy fix, information conveyed, all is good.
