Guess Mom and I will be breaking our longstanding holiday tradition of watching Rudolph on TV this year.

It's on CBS tonight, Alan. However, I'll be watching Agents of SHIELD to see if they're continuing their finally possibly getting decent streak.

I've seen Rudolph about 9,758 times. Very Happy

I know, and Mom refuses to watch it tonight since it's airing before Thanksgiving.

Cheers to that. I was convinced to catch up by a buddy after I found the first episode kind of...'eh'. I'm glad its getting better and I'm hoping it just keeps on.

Rudolph is one of my favourite Christmas movies/shows.

It is fun, but it has not aged well. I remember watching as an adult (it had been many years since seeing it as a kid) and thinking "Wow. That's...really sexist."

^ I don't know. That stuff has never really bothered me. Something doesn't have to be politically correct for me to enjoy it, especially if it's from an older, less sensitive time.

Wait...Rudolph was sexist? What were the sexist parts? (other than the main characters all being males)

One part that jumped out at me was Rudolph's mother wanting nothing more than to help find her son, and her husband saying "Stay home...this is man's work."

But that's only one thing I can think of. Maybe I'm off-base; I just remember it jumping out at me.

Perhaps I'll have to catch up with Agents. I got bored and haven't watched for several weeks.

Any Doctor Who fans out there who'd wanna talk about the 50th Anniversary?

@Taral: yeah, man, please catch up first. It won't mean as much otherwise.

Caedus, ]I wasn't expecting to feel very strongly about the special, since I'm not by any means obsessed with Who, but WHOA.

Hurt was fantastic and I'm sad we won't see more of him, but we got this performance and I think he stole the show completely.

Also the resolution opens up a ton of possibilities for the show but removes some of the motivation for previous episodes because all of the guilt and regret in the character is rendered pointless, it feels like a waste.

The special was still fantastic though, I absolutely loved it and I've watched it several times.
