I didn't like the Coruscant Nights books either. I just found them boring.

Yeah, the boredom and the timeline issues were my two problems with those books.

I like the idea of Laranth, but I like the character of Fel better.

X-Wing Rogue Squadron 25: The Making of Baron Fel was by far the best offering of that entire series.

And his impact is felt across the board for years.

Fel.

I have such a soft spot for Laranth Tarak - being a fellow Twi'lek and all ... lol (on CWA ); and I loved the books! May be because they gave me hope that there were more Jedi Knights like Jax out there ... (Until CWA messed up the timeline ... GRRRRR ... Mad with Evan Peele's early death Shocked ... and a couple of other things Mad GRRRRR ... Evil or Very Mad )!!!

I was gonna give a sympathy vote to her ... but thank God Jedi Joe did that ... Thank you!! Wink

So..., I will have to go with Fel. His impact on EU is too big to ignore. And he was pretty COOL! Cool

HELP ME Obi-Wan ...

I liked Laranth. She gained a soft spot from her demise for me. But Fel is a mainstay. He and his relatives have made a major impact on the EU.

Gotta go Fel.

Much as I adore the hilarity of the character of Xizor I have to vote Malak, he had more of an overall impact.

Dang man. You make these really tough. Malak is cool and a Sith lord but Xizor has been around a long time. I think I will go with Xizor just to keep it interesting at the start.

Mah, I never liked the Falleens successful use of pheromones on humans. It just made humans of SW more alien.

I vote Malak! Even with the Kotor comics calling him Squirtabirdy or something.

Darth Malak ftw. I love how the comics fleshed out his backstory in a way that when we first met him we had no idea who he was (some Jedi named Squint, then he loses his hair, then he's called Alek, then gets his head tattoos, then becomes Malak, etc.) It was a really cool progression.

Also: Revan cut off his jaw because he was being cocky and reckless. That's just crazy and awesome.

So yes, Malak.

Darth Malak was a cool character, but playing as Revan, I really bought into the story, so I can't help but continue to think of him as my arch enemy who much be electrocuted with Force Storm...relentlessly...without mercy...oh that was so fun.

So I'm voting for Prince Xizor. He was cool before Malak, and I don't have any lingering "you must die before my feet, apprentice" issues. Laughing
