I'm so jealous that I can hardly stand it, but also so happy for you that its hard to express.

I'd say accept that for the moment I'm sending you mixed messages.

^ That pretty much sums it up for me. Congratulations, Padmé. I suppose. Not jealous at all.

In the one Olympic event I care even the slightest amount for (Women's Curling), CANADA WON THE GOLD! Huzzah!

And yes, the fact that the one sport I like isn't hockey does make me a terrible Canadian. I made my peace with that years ago.

If it helps, y'all, I barely got to say three words to him.

I'm fully recovered from a weekend at Planet Comic-Con in KC!

We met Scott Snyder, we met Tim Sale, we met Tony Moore. It was ridiculously awesome. I got tons of the comics signed, bought a big huge Swamp Thing figure, and other such frivolity.

That's cool. I went to Planet Comic Con last year in KC and liked it a lot. I didn't see too many Star Wars guests this time, so I decided to skip it this year.

With Rucka, Snyder, Sale, and a few others there this was definitely a Batman year. They also had a few Marvel guests, but their main attractions were the Star Trek NG cast hosted by Shatner and Sylvester McCoy (7th Doctor, Radagast the Brown).

I'm going to see a play based on The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe! Very Happy

I've never been to a play before, but I have always wanted to.

That cheered me up after the depressing Star Wars news today. Good old Narnia. Smile

Well, good thing of the weekend. I went to a WWII re-enactment on Saturday that was really cool. They had jeeps, halftracks, motorcycles and even a tracked assault gun all blasting away at each other on a mock battlefield with 100s of re-enactors. Afterwards they broke off into little camps and people could wander around and check out their gear, talk with the re-enactors, and learn a little bit about history. It was a lot of fun.

If anyone is interested, I could post pictures. I took a bunch.
