I'm not too sure.
First of all, home field advantage dissapears, which doesn't seem right to me. They spend a lot of money on their stadiums, so why not make full use of them?
Also, last year the game was a mess, because the field sucked and it was raining. Football is fun to watch in the rain, but not fair. I feel that way about the Colts Super Bowl. As glad as I am that they won, I wish they had had to compete in good conditions that can display the team's full talent.
I believe the NFL just wants to improve it's market over seas. These games are sell-out, so that means money. I know they plan to do this every year from now on.
I hope this game is broadcast here. They show the teams in your home market, so, as two of my states teams play at the same time, I doubt it will be on. But I do like to watch the Saints with Drew Brees (MVP candidate, I hear) and Bush. But as he's out, the excitement of his big play ability is gone, which makes for a less interesting game.
