Y'all, I'm a complete addict. But a proud one. I went to 2nd and Charles (a used media store) this past weekend, and scored a bunch of RPG books from West End Games. I spent $100+ on them, but overall it was a great bargain. They generally sell for about $40 a pop, but I was able to get them for $12 each. Not to mention, just a few minutes after I grabbed one of each and carted off with them, another man came behind me and cleaned out the shelf for reselling purposes. How do I know? He was scanning them all with a barcode scanner. Evil or Very Mad

Okay, that's really bugging me. I read about 2nd and Charles somewhere but now I can't remember what it was specifically. It was a some kind of Star Wars event. Either an author signing or a 501st Legion event.

I didn't realize this, but Timothy Zahn wrote some Marvel comics back in the 90s. Namely, he wrote a three-issue Star-Lord miniseries.

Marvel did a lame thing and first reprinted most of the Star-Lord adventures (not that mini) in these triple-sized issues, and I bought each of those books. Then Marvel reprinted all of those adventures PLUS the mini in a TPB. I'm not planning on buying that TPB.

So at Comic-con this weekend I found a store that sold me all three issues for $5!

I also bought a bunch of other cool stuff, like 7 issues of New Mutants, 12 issues of X-Men (Brian Wood), and some other TPBs. Good times!
