Longtime Star Wars fan (for over half the thirty years I've been alive I've been a fan). I read Tales from Jabba's Palace and The Courtship of Princess Leia shortly after watching the original trilogy in the 8th Grade as my first two Star Wars novels and I've been hooked ever since.

Recently I've re-read one of my favorites, The Han Solo Trilogy by A.C. Crispin and I quite enjoy Karen Traviss' style of writing in the Republic Commando series.

I enjoy creative writing, reading all manner of books, weightlifting and CrossFit, surfing and swimming in my spare time.

Pre-emptively I'm glad to meet you all.[/i]

Life Is The Path: thanks. The username was inspired by the surname of Sir John Hawkwood, a former English soldier who became a mercenary in medieval era Italy. If he were living in the Star Wars universe Sir John Hawkwood could be a prototypical Mandalorian.

Thank you for the warm welcome everyone.

I was wondering if that's where you got your username! That's awesome. I'm the resident knight enthusiast around these parts. Wink

EDIT: Almost forgot: Welcome!

Yep, Reppicheep, that's where that came from.

I'm additionally a Mandalorian fan thanks to Karen Traviss' writings.

The Courtship of Princess Leia was also my first book! And I have not looked back since. Smile

Welcome!

My re-reading of the Han Solo Trilogy is inspiring a fanfiction idea or two.
