^ I'd like a Boba Fett movie and an Obi-Wan movie (and please someone make a Vader movie). I'm less enthused about a Han Solo movie simply because it would almost certainly mean recasting.

Isn't that called the Prequel Trilogy? Laughing

^ Haha, true. But he only put on the suit at the very end! I'd love to see a movie about Vader hunting down Jedi... maybe Ahsoka? The only problem would be character development. Between RotS and the OT, I see Vader as being at a standstill character-wise - he's just a slave to the Emperor - so I don't think it could be told from his perspective. Maybe if it was told from the POV of the Jedi he's hunting? Vader could be this mechanical force of destruction like General Grievous was in the original Clone Wars show. Just some ideas.

Fear not. I'll eat my metaphorical hat if Rebels doesn't cover the whole "Vader kills Ahsoka" thing. Now that she will no longer be the kid main character, the threshold for offing her during some season finale will be much, much lower.

I would place my bets on resolution of the Ahsoka story on the comics rather than Rebels. I'm betting that one of the comics lines that Marvel picks up next year will be the continuation of TCW seasons 7 and 8. Wouldn't it be cool if Marvel actually announced their SW comics for 2015 at SDCC?

Josh Trank has dropped the 2018 Star Wars standalone.

^ Yeah, I'm getting that sense too.

I don't know the story behind the disagreement (maybe his ideas were genuinely awful), but I always give artists the benefit of the doubt over corporations.

On another note, I was thinking today how much I would like a Star Wars movie with the Imperials as the good guys. I'd like to see a more sympathetic take on soldiers in the Empire like what we got with the EU. Obviously I wouldn't want them to be fighting against the Rebel Alliance, but maybe against a criminal organization or a more brutal group of rebels?

An Obi-Wan Kenobi trilogy might be on its way.
I really want an Obi-Wan movie as he was the best part of the Prequel Trilogy. A trilogy seems a bit excessive though especially if they take place between RotS and ANH, but hey, I won't complain if it turns out to be true. Very Happy

Obi-Wan was my favorite character from the PT and TCW. I loved the Kenobi book and would love to see him get a movie or two or three set before ANH. It'd be cool to see him actually make contact with Qui-Gon and learn how to become a force ghost. I have a feeling that GL kept Maul alive in TCW for something like this. I think we'll see that old Infinities story happen, but with Maul now having his "newer" bottom half. We've already seen the mech legs that were in the comic.

Maybe out of that movie (or those movies) we'll learn something new about OB1 that'll completely change everything...like Han having a wife between ANH and ESB (thanks Marvel /sarcasm).

One thing is for sure, I'd rather see an OB1 film than a Boba Fett and/or Han Solo film. I think I'd even rather see that than another telling of the stealing of the Death Star plans.

^ I forgot about Maul. As much as I disliked that subplot from TCW, this could be a good way to finish it up. They could even bring back Ray Park with green screen pants.

I'm holding out for the third Ewok film. New motto: Complete the Trilogy!
