just an idea i had, after reading something about a deleted scene from ANH, that mentioned someone, unnamed, but by the title of blue leader, and they supposedly knew anakin or something. so, here's the story i came up with.
During the clone wars, a group of non-clone pilots volunteered to assist the war effort. this group of otherwise civillians was known as blue flight, and flew alongside some of the best jedi, including general Tinn and Skywalker. after order 66 and the fall of the jedi, this group helped shelter survivors, bringing them to rebel forces. The rebels equipped them with newer fighters and gear for their efforts. during a mission to escort a cruiser carrying jedi to a rebel base on Naboo, blue flight was ambushed by darth vader. the jedi cruiser and blue flight were all but wiped out. in a last ditch effort to save something of the mission, blue leader and his wingman shot vader out of the sky, although they both joined him in a three way crash landing. on the ground below, the wingman was killed by vader, while blue leader somehow managed to escape. anyway, onto pictures :D
