Galactic Fashion Show

Mara Jade Skywalker Master Joined: 15 Feb 2008 Posts: 5359 Location: Beyond Shadows Soooo...what does everybody think of the different fashions of the Star Wars saga? Will X-Wing pilots always wear those 70's orange goggles? How about the boots? Much as I like them, I have to wonder why everyone wears knee-high boots. And some of the outfits...they look so cumbersome! Why do the Jedi wear cloaks when they always have to throw them off before a fight? And how do they get them back? I know they were probably trying to go for exotically beautiful, but...it didn't pan out so well. Leia, on the other hand, got it right almost every time. At least she changed clothes during the movies. Luke and Han picked an outfit and wore it from beginning to end of each film. Come to think of it, did Han ever change other than the Endor mission? When Padmé gets scratched by the Nexu in the arena, suddenly the bottom half of her shirt disappears and half her sleeve. If you pay attention, his clawing wasn't in the right place to cause such damage. She should only have had the scratches on her back that we see.
