I really wish they'd have acknowledged that. And there probably should've been more between LOTF and thie book because I wanted to see more interaction with the Solo's and Allana because...

Me, too! I almost bought it at Wal-Mart yesterday, but alas...time restraints stopped me. I'm very tempted to go ahead and purchase it from Books-A-Million, though. Just takes a couple clicks of the button...

I was just gonna get it from my own library but I couldn't resist adding another one to my collection. It was worth the buy. Decent transitionary book.

Might want to take the ending slowly. It can be a little hard to follow.

Well I just finished it. Hmm...slightly disappointing. I thought the book was excellent overall, but the ending just didn't have the umph I was hoping for. I was very glad for a book that didn't focus on the destruction of the galaxy, but the last few pages just kind of weakened it. Oh, well...was still a fun read all the same.

So far I am enjoying Leia's POV in MF, I do hope they explore those feelings in the other characters more. It seems Ben and Leia are the two to really get to hash it out for the readers.

Its ironic for me because as a story about the Millennium Falcon's past owners, this was kind of bland for me. However, taking the story regarding Han, Leia and Allana, it far exceeds all expectations, and as usual, the Lucenopedia does outstanding work with both Han and Threepio.

The relationship he develops between Han and Allana is a highly memorable one, and one of my favourites in the entire EU. Han and Leia's thoughts regarding Jacen were exquisitely rendered and really, this is what LOTF should have been doing.

This isn't an epilogue for LOTF as it was sometimes advertised, but more a stand-alone.

I loved the different ideas Han and Leia had regarding Jacen's redemption, with the pair seeming to switch roles in how *I* would have believed they would feel, with Leia hoping for Jacen's redemption through the goodness of who Allana is and who she will grow up to be. Meanwhile, Han believes because he HAS to that Jacen's hand is reaching from somewhere beyond to set things right, going so far as to call out for Jacen to save them. It was more touching than I expected, and something we've waitied longer than we should have to see.

I did enjoy the aspect of the Solos looking to the past for answers regarding the Falcon whereas Jadak had to go to the future. This book also had Armand Isard and people actually mentioned that they thought Daala becoming Chief of State was ridiculous (the graffitti and also the mention about how Mon Calamari was up in arms about it) so I also appreciated that,

I agree. The history parts got a little dry after a while, but the main plot was good.

I didn't like it.

I felt the Jacen reflection parts were completely separate, and at the end they felt like a whole part of the story had been cut out.

Jadak's story seemed to take away the fun for me for the first half, but then I could say "ok he told Han everything"

I felt the ending was good, but it felt like to could have and should have had more emotion about Jacen, and they could have told the story a few different ways.

I wasn't very impressed- the only thing that salvaged it for me was just knowing about the Falcon's past.

I liked it better than the LOTF books. I thought Jadak was kind of neat. My only gripe was at the very end their escape scene got a little confusing.

Yeah it did. I could see why it wouldn't be for everyone, but personally, I liked it.
