Grevious, perhaps? We know he can't be destroyed, but The one thing about the show that makes little sense is A.) Grevious is active, very active, in the early part of TCW; Durge and Ventress should be, not him. B) Anakin and Obi-Wan know him...how did that happen?

Perhaps he will start getting less and less time until the later part of TCW, where he's suppose to be.

Well according to Wookieepedia, Grievous was actually at Geonosis, guarding the Sep council down in the catacombs. His first public appearance was at the Battle of Hypori, which was four months later. During that battle, Obi-Wan and Anakin both saw an image of Grievous as he was killing Jedi.

I'd have to do some checking to see where the timeline is with the new series episodes.

I've been referring to tv.com for the episode info. According to them it is now episode 10. Hmm, I might see if I can't find a more reliable source.

This episode was okay, but the brief part where they discuss Grievous wanting the cybernetic body made it sound like that's exactly what happened instead of him getting into a crash that would have killed him. I hope they aren't thinking about changing his backstory from the books, but....

I thought this episode was cool. Kit Fisto was pretty good - I liked his accent. Laughing

Nahdar Vebb I didn't like, so I wasn't that upset about him dying.

Whenever there are a couple Jedi and clones that have no names, I always figure they'll be gone by the end Sad

First off, I like the feel and design of Grievous' lair. I thought they did a good job with that. It was dark, moody, and had a robotic feel to it. Secondly, I liked seeing Grievous crawl around like a spider. Kind of neat. Thirdly I liked them killing off the Mon Cal Jedi Knight. Not only did it add to Grievous' Jedi kill count, it also showed that he was a deadly foe, and that the Jedi were indeed vulnerable in the Clone Wars.

However, I realized during this episode that Grievous is completely overdone as an opponent. He may have four lightsabers and arms, he may have a cyborg body, and is trained in lightsaber combat, but that he still doesn't have the Force. Why don't the Jedi just rip off his droid limbs with the Force? He can't block Force attacks and he wouldn't be feeling any pain so it wouldn't be a dark side attack. Seems like they've overestimated his abilities. That, or the Jedi are so foolish as to "restrain" themselves to a purely fair fight.

Well, at least the Old Republic Jedi who spend so much time debating right and wrong that they overlook these simple solutions. There are many moments all over the EU where you think of a way to deal with an enemy that no other Jedi can come up with. Grievous is a deadly adversary with a lightsaber, but he couldn't stop any kind of Force attack coming at him (as you've all mentioned) but don't tell the Jedi that Smile
