Well I think most TV series go for somewhere between $40-$60. I'm a big fan of M*A*S*H and I think the individual seasons go for something like $50 (I have all the seasons now and its been a while since I really looked in the TV series sections of the stores).

I think though it is a complete rip-off you're paying something like $4 per episode and it probably only cost them something like $8 to make the whole package. If they release the complete season I might buy but this isn't worth the money, especially since there is no promise that they won't stop making the 4 episode installments before they are all released and just release the whole season instead.

$50 wouldn't be too bad.

Well I know adult TV seasons are generally upwards of $50, but I was hoping a cartoon/animated season would be less. Neutral

I stand corrected. You are right Mara Jade, a cartoon/animated series would seem to be less. It is still a rip off though because an older TV series like Teen Titans is $15 a season so it would still probably be worth the time to wait for the complete season to come out.

Can ya'll believe our library got the Clone Wars on DVD? I'm stunned. They get the weirdest pieces when they do decide to add to the collection. *ponders* Ah, well...I already have it, so it doesn't really matter.

They are releasing another dvd for the Clone Wars season 1. This one will have episodes: "Rookies", "Storm Over Ryloth", "Innocents of Ryloth", and "Liberty of Ryloth". It'll be called Clone Commandos. Release date seems to be September 15 (which seems a long way off).

Personally I'm still waiting for the complete season set.

But didn't they include Rookies on the first DVD? They did! It was "an extra bonus episode" I think. The little cheapskates...Evil or Very Mad

I am so looking forward to this!

It's going to be $44.98 on DVD and $59.99 on Blu-Ray. So it's a little under what we expected.
Bonus features:
22 companion featurettes
7 Directors cuts
Jedi Temple Archives (not really sure what this is)
A 64 page production journal

That's enought to satisfy me. Very Happy

Yeah, that sounds like a good purchase to me. It's actually cheaper than the Best Buy copy of The Clone Wars movie. Shocked

Although it looks like that darn slipcase thing that the Target version of The Clone Wars used, and that's a pain in the butt. It always wants to fall apart since the little booklet is a part of the package. Grrr...Mad

Ohyeah! It even looks awesome. I think I'll put that on my Christmas list. Very Happy

I bought the Season 1 boxset! I'm watching one every day after school and I'm up to Destroy Malevolence. The design of the packaging looks awesome. Very Happy
