Jacen's been a favorite of mine since the YJK days. I was really worried when I found out what they were going to do with him concerning the Dark Side in this series, but it's been interesting so far and I always wanted to see him go dark.

Of course, it'll just be a waste of another Solo kid if they just kill him off in the end. I'm hoping he gets stripped of the Force and has to deal with that. It would be an interesting read to see how he would react if that happened, especially since he's grown so used to having it and he learned all that new stuff on his super five year journey of Force-filled doom. Heehehe~

He'd probably do exactly what Ulic Qel-Droma did: just disappear into the galaxy and live in isolation. Even if he isn't stripped of the Force, he's done several things wrong and people are going to hold deep grudges against him. He may be redeemed and then the Jedi will help him disappear. I personally want him gone that way he can't be altered into a villain again for a story; I never saw him going dark, not even in the New Jedi Order but I also thought Vergere wasn't a Sith but now everywhere I go I'm told she was because LUMIYA says she is.

I wonder if their are any Force techniques for fighting fire? I do recall Luke being in some volcanic like environment in the Jedi Academy Trilogy when he was recruiting a force user, but I can't remember if he used any specific force powers to fend off the flames...

Maybe Jacen learned something in his travels that can come in handy when burning alive.

Laughing You're a cold one, Darth Skuldren, may he die at the hands of a Mando, be it Fett, or Mirta! For Mandalore!

of course that doesn't work nearly as well as not lighting yourself on fire

As far as Force powers go since lightning can be created perhaps water can be created using the Force?

In Betrayal, I had high hopes for him. He was a favorite of mine to begin with (mainly because I can relate to him) and I've always liked the Sith. However, I'll admit the authors haven't gone in quite the direction I'd've liked with him. I can only hold out hope that Karen Traviss, the last good author in this series, will do him justice . . . I hold no illusions that he will survive. Crying or Very sad

Aww, that sucks when a character you can relate to breaks the soil.

I was a similar way, Darth Skuldren, concerning Jacen Solo. I thought some great philosophical things were brought up in Traitor and with Jacen and Luke modified it even more for me. But to see someone similar to the way I think fall to the dark side, you question what you think. But Luke and I still have a general consensus so I'll stand over there with him Laughing

Right you are! But I think Darth Skuldren was hoping Fett would flame Jacen's hair at least. I think it would be hilarious! Twisted Evil

Creating water? How about collecting moisture from the air to condense into water? But that sounds like a major task with much concentration needed!

Haha true.

But anyway, back to Caedus, you think he's gonna kill someone in Revelation? I think that'd really set the stage for more drama in Invincible.

I could see Caedus killing off some Republic personnel. He just about killed somebody at the end of the last novel. Maybe him and Niathal will come to blows and he'll kill her off in order to claim complete control of the government. His character seems to be heading that way. As he becomes more careless, Niathal seems to become more of a hinderment to his actions.

Niathal is even getting worried about her co-Chief of State. Ever since Jacen went in league with her, I knew her days would be numbered. Caedus will most likely arrest her and have her executed like he did with the detained Corellians (yeah, I'm sure they're gone.) The only thing that keeps me going is how Luke Skywalker will continue on with combating Jacen and working with Ben in the next book.

Oh, I noticed it and that's where my fear more than doubled what it was when they agreed to work together. Maybe that's also part of the "revelation."

I forgot about that. Poor squid heads. They'll probably end up just like the Bothans...

Niathal isn't stupid. I'm sure she's been wary of Jacen/Caedus from the start. But I'm not sure if that's going to save her. I just have this sneaking suspicion he's going to be gunning for her. Whether she dies or not, I'm not sure. Suppose we'll have to see.
