No Thrawn Crying or Very sad

Mara's face seems pointy to me. But I'm just being nitpicky.

I like they're trying something new, a different perspective compared to what's usually seen. I hope they keep the rough, edgy look of Mara, but I'm not happy with the Storm Troopers. If it were me, I'd cut them completely or have them in the background, giving the cover some depth. Right now, it looks too flat....

But yes, I kinda like too.

And to be even more nitpicky, her mouth seems a little off to me. Too thin. For some reason I've always imagined her to have fuller lips. But that is a small quibble. I quite like how Mara looks; quite worn out yet determined and ready for action.
I'm looking forward to this book, although I haven't yet read Allegiance (Buying more SW books is off limits to me until I get through everything else, including the Don Quixote book I use as to steady my desk). If it doesn't have the big three, I'd be okay with it. More than okay. Wasn't it the Rebellion comic series that had Tycho in it, along with some other rebellious Imperials?

I mentioned my opinion on this weeks EUCast, I think the pose and the background has potential it's just VERY ROUGH right now.

I also share my opinion, which is rather harsh. But then...I can tend to be cynical. Wink

However, I am a big Mara fan (obviously), and to me...this is an insult. Sad

I certainly wouldn't call it an insult. Mara's image has certainly varied over time, and I'd have to say this is one of the better versions, but I've come to think of the model that Mara is sometimes based off of as the real Mara.

Shannon McRandle or whatever her name is? I have never been a fan of images based on her.

Me neither, and her hair color is wrong. Mara's hair was red-gold, not darker red. It really annoys me when they get Mara's hair wrong.

Not to mention Ben's eyes and hair.......but that's another issue.

Hmmm looks like the cover to the first book (minus Mara):

Wonder if its a cover they created for the first book?

At least give her a blaster to go with the light saber.

Its ok though. Just ok.
