I cried when Bolin walked in on Korra and Mako.

Ok, not really, but it was a sad scene.

Korra is definitely immature, but it's realistic and adds to a more complex character. I like the story driven episodes better too, but I feel like we had a couple there that were just action for actions sake, so it was nice to have an episode focused primarily on character development.

The Bender Bowl or whatever that sports game is called was an interesting concept, but it's getting boring for me unless it's used as an analogy for character conflicts as we saw in this episode.

I think they should have put this episode before Amon's revelation. It didn't fit well with pacing.

@Padme: Korra is self-confident, but also naive and lacking in life experience. Wasn't it someone else who told her to say that? I think she figured out too late that was not the best advice.

Having feelings for a new person in a new place might make you act out of character or let down your guard. I don't see that moment of weakness as a character flaw, to me it made Korra more endearing and relateable.

I dunno, I was just kind of disappointed in her. I still like her as a character, though.

Great episode! More flashbacks, more Amon... awesome.

Best episode so far in my opinion. The stakes are being raised, but there were some nice character moments, as well.

May I suggest that Pabu is the real hero of the show?

I'm still bored with Bending Bowl so I wasn't happy to see another episode of it, even though it is getting back to the central conflict. I liked seeing Chief Beifong kick butt.

I almost forgot about the first flashback, but seeing another one was really cool and they will certainly be used for significant effect on the story.

Is the assumption that Amon is the man that Aang is fighting?

I also forgot about

I'm not bored with the Bending tournament right now, but I wonder how it will hold up on repeat viewings.

Another good episode.

My favourite characters are now Korra, Tenzin, and Lin. In that order.

I feel the main conflict of the episode was Korra vs the powder puff. Wink

Will anyone be upset if Amon is someone we are not at all expecting? In other words, if he turns out to just be some dude. I really don't think that will bother me at this point, cause I just think he's kind of awesome. Not that a twist is bad, but I don't think it's needed.
