I heard Bombad Radio talking about this and thought it was kind of funny. The idea is from Screen Rant. They propose 10 characters they'd like to see in the Hunger Games and what their chances would be.

Penelope 'Punky' Brewster (age 12)
Buffy Summers (age 17)
Luke Skywalker (age 16)
Wesley Crusher (age 16)
Andrew 'Ender' Wiggin (age 12)
Dr. Douglas 'Doogie' Howser (age 14)
Lawrence 'Chunk' Cohen (age 12)
Hermione Granger (age 18 )
Mindy 'Hit-Girl' McCready (age 13)
Joffrey Baratheon (age 17)

Link: http://screenrant.com/hunger-games-heroes-we-want-to-see/

I'd have to agree with the hosts of Bombad Radio that Hit-Girl would definitely be the winner.

It depends on if they have their equipment. Luke - at 16 - would be useless without an X-Wing. Ender, presumably, would be useless without that interface thing. Hermoine would be useless without a wand. It would seem that the ones with the best chances would be Buffy or Crusher. The others I either don't know very well, or haven't heard of.

Don't forget the cornucopia horn full of weapons. I'm sure it would include a wand and a lightsaber.

^Except at 16, Luke wouldn't know how to use a lightsaber, and the article says that Hermione doesn't get her wand, which is a bit unfair to both of them.

I'd forgot the cornucopia, actually, but what GM says about Luke at 16 still stands. At that point he was solely a gifted pilot and whiner. He may indeed last a while, since he's used to a hard living, but I think his limited experience in combat would be his undoing.

For the sake of the argument, let's say Hermione does get her wand, that could tip the odds in her favour. Anything that can alter reality has to be a game changer. That's why I tipped Crusher to be a real contender. Because the Mary Sue always wins.

I'd say Buffy. She was already the Slayer at that age, right?
If not then Hit-Girl.

But like Life, I don't know some of them, or know very little abut them.

Ender isn't a bad fighter. He's good at utilizing whatever is available to him. He ended up killing Bonzo in a one-on-one fight in the shower. He may not win the Hunger Games, but I wouldn't count him out of the running.
