I bet not one person on this forum could act better than he could. I know I couldn't even come close. Acting isn't even close to easy, and I think sometimes we expect too much of child actors. Adults...sure, that's their profession, and they should do it correctly. But kids? They're not old enough to have a profession, but there they are. I'm just incredibly impressed with how well they actually do perform, considering. Don't get me wrong, I'm not going to be happy with a completely cardboard performance, but I thought Jake Lloyd did a great job overall. Some of his lines were dumb, but what was he going to do about it? That was Lucas, not him.
