Star Wars Insider: Original Fiction

I'm going to create this thread to cover all the original fiction short stories Star Wars Insider is now including because there seem to be a lot of them now and there's no sign of them stopping.

Now I'm no longer a subscriber to Insider, but all of these new short stories are giving me serious second thoughts.

Paul S. Kemp (Crosscurrent, Deceived, Riptide) just announced on Twitter today that he's writing an upcoming short story for Insider that will probably be in their October issue. It will feature Khedryn and Maar, the two spacers from Crosscurrent and Riptide.

Also feel free to share your thoughts on whether you think Insider is now worth the money considering the short stories.

You know, you don't have to be a subscriber to read the short stories (well, at least once). You can find the last issue always online for free and legally. I read it this way since it was announced in the official site. You'll find it here.

Well, if it's online, and you're reading it just for the short story, then no, I'd say it's not worth it!

However, that issue, there, looked quite good! It reminded me of the old Star Wars Magazine I used to read, during the time of the films (I thought it was the precursor to Insider, but it turned out it wasn't). It comes out every two months, right? And is roughly £5ish? Hmm. I'd say it's worth it.
