Telletubbies?! Shocked
I wonder if they dressed up to look more convincing? Laughing

I just hope they used duct tape to attach the flat screen TVs, "abdominal TV insertion plastic surgery" sounds somewhat painful and VERY expensive. Wink

Clarification: in the context of people declaring themselves as smurffs etc. were they declaring their religion as Jedi or "race/ethnicity" as Jedi? Cause I'm assuming "smurff" must've been a racial category and not a religious classification but I'll be rather horrified if people thought "Jedi" is a race/species in Star Wars.

The way the article was written, I assume they were indeed talking about ethnicity.
It wasn't explicitly stated as such though.

This is a piece of advice that I'm constantly forgetting, to my detriment:

Notions that you have at 2am are seldom good.

That awkward silence over the phone when both people ran out of things to say... Confused

It's worse in person. Because then you're both looking at the suddenly incredibly interesting floor/ceiling/fingernails...whatever seems the least awkward. And yet...it's soooo awkward.

I think it's worse on the phone. In person, you always have body language to help you out. On the phone, it's just radio silence. Confused

It happened with me and my grandma today. I was a day late in wishing her happy birthday and when I finally called her today I was like: "Yeah, so I just called to say happy birthday and I hope you had a wonderful day yesterday." She said thank you and that she had a nice day and everyting and then it was just silence. You could just feel the awkwardness because neither of us knew what to say next. Should you continue to make small talk or just say goodbye and ring off? Not a very pleasant situation I can tell you that. Sad

"Hello Christine. Look at Raoul, now back at me. Now back at Raoul, and back to me. Sadly, he isn't me. But if he cut his hair so he wouldn't look like a lady he could look like he's me. Look down, back up, where are you? You're on a boat with lit candles rising from the water. Anything is possible when your man is a phantom and not a sissy viscount. I stole a horse."

Cool
