Apparently that's not true. We accounted for leap years when we synchronized the Mayan and Gregorian calendars. However, a recent discovery in Guatemala hints that the Mayan Calendar goes long past 2012: Link (Which is what people have been saying all along. Now we just have proof) |
Dang it.
One other thing that I read concerning Nostradamus's predictions was that, yes, he predicted calamity in 2012, but he also predicted calamity in years after 2012. Of course, those predictions wouldn't come to pass if the world was destroyed in 2012. _________________
