As revealed on the homepage, R2's death has been revealed in the last issue of Legacy - War.

However, I have it on good word that they're also planning on another Legacy - War arc. In the second arc, C-3PO avenges R2. It's going to be called The Maker Will Pay. 3PO becomes a bounty hunter and tracks down Krayt. It's going to be awesome. Set for release after Knight Errant: Deluge.

Oh gosh. I actually fell for this. Shocked

I was going to say this is a pretty big spoiler to reveal in a thread title...

We have this on very good authority. Anthony Daniel's third cousin removed friend's niece informed us. It's solid. Trust me.

But the R2 adventures could be worth reading. Just imagine the dialog. They'll need a really skilled author to pull it off.

R1: Beep boop woooo.

Deep stuff. Laughing

R2-D2 will never die or be deactivated. He will continue on for infinity... and somehow there will always be a Skywalker for the droid to co-pilot the ship with. Smile

R2 is everywhere. It's like he's immortal or something.

So does this mean Skuls can chalk this one up as "most successful April Fool's day prank ever" given that over a year later people still fell for it? Wink

EDIT: I'm also going to give Jaina credit for some tactical thread rezzing for finding the thread and deliberately reviving it to fool a fellow forum rookie.
