| Marvel is very hit and miss with their films. The Fantastic Four duology was awful, but they had some good films to. Spiderman 1 & 2 were great, but I was really really disappointed with 3. To the point of being done with the franchise. The new one, however, is starring a guy I trust as an actor and a director that I'm fond of so it should work out. As for Iron Man, the first one was amazing, the second one was anti-climactic and disappointing. When it comes to Thor, I'm psyched. Captain American doesn't look so good. The second attempt at a Hulk movie was alright, but then they replaced Ed Norton with Mark Ruffalo so I'm once again apathetic. Marvel has some of the best superhero films, but they are only so amazing in comparison to their horrific ones like Spidey 3, Fantastic 4 number 1, Hulk 1, and so on and so forth. Punisher 1 and 2 were kinda bad. I mean Marvel has potential but they crank out movies so fast. Personally the first 2 X-Men movies were great, but X3 was only ok and Wolverine was so awful that I considered taking up drugs to erase it as a memory. The new one looks fantastic, but I've been hurt before. I like DC better. They may not have as many good superheroes but they are learning how to space out their movies and take time to make them great. The new 2 Batman films, the upcoming Supernan film, and of course Green Lantern look great. I'm excited and I think they'll blow it all out of the water when it comes to comic companies and making movies. If only Marvel would learn patience, they would be good consistently rather than hit and miss. |
Regarding the X-Men movies, I actually found Wolverine more enjoyable than X3. Good lord, I hate X3. [/i] _________________ All things die, Anakin Skywalker, even stars burn out.
