Solo Sound is looking to create a new Star Wars audio drama. We've been brainstorming this for a while now, and we've created a list of stories ideas that we'd like to write and produce. All of them are NJO related, with the original idea being a series like the Tales from the Mos Eisley Cantina, but with NJO era stories.

For now, we just need to pick one to do. And for that, we're asking for you all to vote for which story you think we should do. Don't count on them all being made. Pick the one you'd like to see the most.

The concepts of these stories are from Solo Sound, and there is a slight possibly that all will be created. Which one will we do first though? That's up to you! vote and leave your thoughts!

Death, A Destination (2 characters)
Darth Krayt
Vergere

Setting: Yuuzhan Vong prison ship

Krayt awakens in the Embrace of Pain. He is on a Yuuzhan Vong prison ship and taunted by Force visions, until Vergere meets him. He has had his cybernetic arm replaced, and his left eye is a Yuuzhan Vong creature eye. Vergere teaches him to use his agony to touch the dark side, whereby he receives his vision of the One Sith. The two debate philosophies for a time, until Vergere is ordered to join the main invasion force on Coruscant. She weakens Krayt’s bonds considerably, and points him to the exit. When Krayt manages to escape, he happens upon a Yuuzhan Vong female in a cocoon of sorts. He almost kills her, until he senses the Force in her. Shocked, he breaks her free and carries her unconscious body with him. He boards a coralskipper, destroys the ship and heads for Korriban. The story ends with him musing over the role of the One Sith, and how the creature he has rescued might fit into his plans as the perfect distraction for the Jedi, as he would never ally himself with the Vong because of his hatred for them and what they did to his body.

The next idea is our "big one" - if we ever created the whole series, this would be the main, long production that would serve as a centerpiece. That doesn't mean we can't do it first.

Deception (8 characters)
Vongerella (Darth Azrael)
Yal Phaath
Darth Raserei
Darth Krayt
Daye Azur-Jamin
Kyle Katarn
Mara Jade
Jan Ors

Setting: Coruscant, Yuuzhan Vong prison ship, Korriban, Nal Hutta, Roon

Part 1: A short part, where Yal Phaath shapes Vongerella. When the shaping begins to go terribly wrong, and she shows signs of advanced Force use, he moves the entire project to a small prison scout ship to keep an eye on her. What could possibly go wrong?
Part 2: Vongerella awakens on a coralskipper, piloted by Darth Krayt, after feeling a strong shout in the Force from Krayt. The ship is landing on Korriban. He tells her of her potential, and hands her over to Darth Raserei for training. Her training is exceedingly difficult, although she learns fast and shows promise. Together, the two travel to Nal Hutta so that Vongerella can observe some warfare. During the travel, they are discovered by Jedi Knight Daye Azur-Jamin, and subdue him. Raserei proposes killing him immediately, but Vongerella sees the man’s cybernetic implants and wants to keep and study him. The two have a falling out, and Raserei knows that Vongerella is ready to be unleashed upon the galaxy and leaves her with her prize.
Part 3: Another short part. Kyle Katarn, having heard rumors of a Sith threat in the Cloak of the Sith region, ventures to discover the truth behind these rumors. He is confronted by Azur-Jamin, newly turned to the dark side, and allows himself to be defeated and kidnapped, so that he can learn what is happening with the Sith.
Part 4: The rescue. Jan Ors and Mara Jade lead a small strike team of Jedi Knights and Alpha Blue agents to rescue Katarn on Roon. Most are subdued by a shadowy figure that is actually Vongerella, and Mara Jade is skeptical when they instead confront Azur-Jamin. They defeat him soundly, and attempt to turn him back to the light side. They succeed, but his wounds are too grave and he dies. But not before telling them of Vongerella’s existence, and that she has a master too. Shortly after, Vongerella’s ship blasts off. Katarn, Jade and Ors vow to pursue her.

Story 3: Black Sun Rising (6 characters)
Dash Rendar; freelance smuggler
Leebo; companion to Dash Rendar
Wrenga Jixton; former Imperial agent
Karrde
Spiker
Big Gizz

Setting: Tatooine and Malastare

Dash and Leebo are running a shipment of something unknown to Mos Eisley. When they arrive on Tatooine, the contents are stolen by Spiker and Big Gizz, two meathead swoop goons looking to make a quick buck and finally get off Tatooine, as the Hutts have been strangling illegitimate business lately. They sell the goods to the first guy they come across, an older man, but not before swiping some key parts to upgrade their swoop bikes. The two then split, and head off to Malastare. They barely get settled in, watching the podrace turn into a crazy deadly game as outsiders fight their way onto the course, before Jixton breaks down their door. They barely recognize the man who barely left them for dead during Shadows of the Empire, but they do recognize the older man who walks in behind him. It seems that Jixton’s talents led him to Karrde, who is rebooting Black Sun by using smugglers and ne’er do wells with a more legitimate purpose in mind of re-scouting trade lanes. The parts that Spiker and Big Gizz took are confiscated, and Karrde and Jixton leave… only for Jixton to return a few moments later and kill both. He leaves a Black Sun calling card, to warn others that Black Sun has returned.

Story 4: Hunter’s Remorse (4 characters)
Boba Fett
Bossk
Aurra Sing
Varkuss (nephew of Zuckuss)

Setting: Malastare

A high price bounty is placed on Varkuss, a podracing champion. He also happens to be an excellent fighter with similar Force talents like his uncle, Zuckuss. Both in dire need of the money, Bossk and Aurra Sing team up for the first time since the Clone Wars in an effort to kill the young man. What they don’t realize is that Boba Fett is also on-world, to recruit Varkuss into the Mandalorians. As the podrace rages throughout the story, Fett goes toe-to-toe with these desperate hunters. As the fight reaches a fever pitch, Varkuss crashes his pod and is believed killed. In all actuality, he did it purposefully and incapacitates Sing while Fett shows some Mandalorian justice by finally killing his oldest rival. Varkuss agrees to join the Mandalorians, having heard many tales from his uncle about the most feared bounty hunter in the galaxy.

Story 5: Imperial Dreams (3 characters)
Pellaeon
Thrawn
Random Imperials

Setting: Bastion

It is the Battle of Bastion, which the Yuuzhan Vong were victorious in winning. As Pellaeon fights what is surely a losing battle, the comms suddenly light up as new allies appear from the Unknown Regions. Led by Thrawn, these forces decimate the Yuuzhan Vong and keep Bastion from falling to the enemy. Thrawn comes aboard Pellaeon’s flagship, and the two talk strategy and politics. Thrawn recommends reaching out to Daala. At the end of the story, Pellaeon wakes up from his dream. He is disappointed that, yet again, his oldest mentor has abandoned him upon waking. But remembering his advice, he decides that as the galaxy finally relaxes in peace since the Yuuzhan Vong War… perhaps he should reach out to Daala after all.

Story 6: Planet of the Dead (3 characters)
K’Kruhk
Nelik Sei
Zombies!

Setting: Odacer-Faustin, at the Hidden Temple

K’Kruhk is awoken from his meditations by his former padawan, Nelik (now a Jedi Knight). The two have been hiding out on Odacer-Faustin for decades since Order 66, never feeling that the time was right through the Force to emerge. The Yuuzhan Vong had attempted to shape the planet, even installing a world brain, but abandoned the planet not long ago. What the two Jedi do not know is that the shaping process uncovered remnants of hibernating zombies from thousands of years ago, still very much alive and simply waiting for fresh food (as they are immortal). The zombies infect the world brain, in turn basically affecting the entire planet. Familiar with the world brain, the two pick their way through ancient rubble and ruins, eventually coming across hundreds of zombies that are guarding the world brain as it devours the planet. Discovered, the two attempt to escape and call for help. At some point, Nelik is turned to a zombie. As K’Kruhk attempts to find passage offworld, the planet begins to destroy itself. He uncovers an aged shuttle and barely makes his way offworld before the planet collapses in on itself. Saddened and alone, K’Kruhk decides it may now be time to join the New Jedi Order.

Some nices ideas, OMB! I've an idea. If Deception is chosen to be the one you do, maybe Death, A Destination could be done mid story as a flashback?

Thanks Life! In the original planning, Death, A Destination was simply the first act of Deception (note - these are all working titles). If we really wanted to shorten that story and use it as a flashback, it would certainly be possible. Good idea!
