In Lost Stars they made a comment that caught me off guard. They said a Star Destroyer had never been captured before (and this was post ROTJ, two years afterward). I kinda thought Aftermath established that some Imperial Star Destroyers switched sides after Endor, thus the New Republic had some Star Destroyers during the events of Aftermath. Maybe I'm misremembering, or maybe there's an issue there, but I'm not overly motivated to read through Aftermath again to find out.

Captured is not the same thing as acquiring. If some switched sides, they weren't captured.

Yeah, but here's the line that got me.

Rieekan: "We've had ships as large as attack cruisers switch allegiance in other battles, haven't we?"

This is right after they mention a SD has never been captured, implying that a SD has never switch sides either.

But I can't verify the SD's changing sides after Endor. Haven't found that in Aftermath by flipping through it. Not sure I have it in my notes either.
